Ineke Hans (NL) is based in the Netherlands and Berlin. She designs ​furniture, products, exhibitions, in- and outdoor spaces and explores new design strategies. She is professor Design & Social Context at the University of the Arts in Berlin and works for clients, communities and leading international manufacturers on product typologies that fit our current social context.

In 1998 she set up STUDIO INEKEHANS in the Netherlands after studying Product Design in Arnhem (NL) and graduating with an MA in Furniture Design from the Royal College of Art in London. It started off by initiating furniture and product collections herself, still sold via INEKEHANS COLLECTION today.
In 2015 Ineke returned to the UK to set up INEKEHANS SALON in London, and a small personal studio. With the London Salons she explored 'the future of furniture design and the changing position of the designer'. She concluded them with the pamphlet and exhibition: Explore & Act.
• In 2017 she was appointed professor Design & Social Context at the University of the Arts in Berlin.
• In 2019 she moved her small, personal office to Berlin and works from there with her Dutch studio.
• Upto today Ineke Hans is seen as one of the leading Dutch designers.
- Her portfolio contains work for daring and caring international manufactures like Arco, Cappelini, Iittala, Lensvelt, Magis, Offecct, Royal Ahrend, RoyalVKB and clients such as: Cooper Hewitt Museum (NY), Royal Dutch Forestguard, Shorefast Foundation (CA) and Dutch governmental organizations. 
- She has won prestigious international design awards, her projects for the Fogo Island Inn in Canada were highly praised worldwide and her work is purchased by museums and collectors globally.
- She is regularly involved in international juries, talks and critical debates on design.
