Vepa is a down to earth family company, but one of the leading contract furniture manufacturers in the north of the Netherlands of smart, down-to-earth, sustainable products, made by the most modern machinery.
A few years ago, VEPA - the furniture factory, asked me to design a new furniture collection for them.
We got talking and I was hugely impressed by VEPA's ambitions, drive, professionalism and production capabilities. No green talk, but they REALLY do it, they REALLY deliver! In recent months also a totally impressive new digitally controlled production hall was added to the VEPA factory in Hoogeveen.
I designed a new modular meet & seat system for contract environments: not only durable in choice of materials and minimal use of resources, but also by offering space for 'greens' and personalization.
October 2024, a glimpse of the Wireworks colletion was already shown at Orgatec Cologne: With a minimum of parts, made from reusable materials, a colourful and diverse family of accessible furniture for work environments was created: compact, when set up in project rooms, but also on the move in transport. A re-designed workplace: reduced, recyclable, remarkable!
