A commission to design outdoor furniture sets out of inland wood, from the forests of the Royal Dutch Forestguard. Condition: it should be flat pack and do it yourself furniture suitable for DIY shops, with packed tables and chairs not too big to be transported in the back of a customer cars.
Two proposals were taken further.
The straight version was made out of larch, has armed chairs and a bench fitting exactly under the table. The bench can be used by two and if necessary by three people.
A second version was designed to go to shops, or forestguard houses to be turned into 'green' holidayhouses. This chestnut lounge version has a low easy chair and a bench accomplished by low table.
